Today, the MD/CEO and his team briefed the Vice-President on the ongoing implementation of the Agency's transformative programme, the Phase 2 of the Energizing Education Programme (EEP), designed to provide clean, sustainable energy to Federal Universities and University Teaching Hospitals. REA ACTIVATES A COMBINED 200KWP CAPACITY SOLAR MINI GRIDS IN EDO STATE COMMUNITIES.

Edo State, Nigeria – The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), commissioned Two (2) solar hybrid mini grids of 100kWp each at Oloyan community in Ovia South LGA and Sule Camp community in Ovia North East LGA of Edo State respectively. The projects, expected to improve the socio economic conditions of the people in these communities were completed under the Rural Electrification Fund – Call 2 programme of the Rural Electrification Agency.
