In line with the objectives of the UNDP and the Global Environment Facility-funded Africa Mini-Grids Program (AMP), the REA, this week convened a Bidders’ Workshop and Networking Session with Prequalified Energy Developers for the site-specific bidding stage of the AMP Tender process.
The Workshop enhanced the understanding of prequalified bidders’ on business models and requirements of the AMP pilot projects in preparation of the site specific technical, financial and socio-economic proposals.
The knowledge gained at the Workshop effectively aids the Developers’ submission of bankable proposals for development of innovative minigrid projects for rural communities and agricultural value chains
With knowledge-driven activities led by the Executive Director Rural Electrification Fund (REF), Hajiya Sa’datu Belgore; the Program Lead Africa Mini-Grids Program (AMP), Nasir Ibrahim; the Programme Lead Energizing Agriculture Programme (EAP), Mohammed Jibril and the Dep.
