The Delegation of the European Union to the Federal Government and the Economic Community of West African States Visits REA, Layout Opportunities for Improved Energy Access in Nigeria:
As the REA deepens strategic partnerships with national and global stakeholders while drawing in investments to the nation’s renewable energy space, the Agency, today recieved the team from European Commission, led by Inga Stefanowicz, the Head of Green and Digital Economy
The EU delegation was received by Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad, the MD/CEO of REA; Haj. Sa’adatu Belgore the Executive Director, Rural Electrification Fund(REF) and Engr. Barka Sajou, the Executive Director, Technical Services at the REA.
While commending the impact of the REA, the parties extensively discussed various EU-funded Programs and opportunities that the REA can further leverage to deliver on its energy access objectives.
