On the 31st of January 2024, in Abuja, the Partnerships for Activation of Climate Action in Nigeria (PACAN) held its inaugural meeting, convened by the National Council on Climate Change (NCCC), where the Committee’s Co-Chair Person, Engr. Ahmad Sailihijo Ahmad joined other members of the Committee to strengthen the objective of doubling down on the bold, green vision of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for a sustainable and eco-friendly future. As the National Designated Authority and official Focal Point working to address the impacts of climate change in Nigeria, the NCCC continue to serve as a platform aiding collaboration and coordination among various stakeholders to combat and mitigate the impact of climate change. support from the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), this initiative is another testament to the quality of inter-agency collaboration in the energy space through the guidance of the Federal Ministry of Power
