REA Inaugurates a Financial Advisory Committee and Coordination Platform to Guide the Sustainable Implementation
REA Inaugurates a Financial Advisory Committee and Coordination Platform to Guide the Sustainable Implementation of the Agency’s Suite of Agriculture-Energy Programmes as the Agency Optimizes the UNDP-Global Environment Facility-Funded Africa Mini-Grids Program (AMP):
The members of the Committee have been tasked to advise the REA on program advocacy and innovative financing through the Rural Electrification Fund (REF) to scale up low-carbon mini-grids and foster collaboration between stakeholders in the energy and agriculture sectors.
Our objective is to catalyze socio-economic development through the successful implementation of the REA’s Energy-Agriculture initiative
The Agency will continue to work in lockstep with the Committee to coordinate, guide, and promote activities that will achieve long-term commercial viability in implementing ag-energy, socio-economic initiatives at REA
