#PartnersinPower -On the 21st of March, 2024, the REA received a delegation from USAID Power Africa Program. A long-term partner of the Agency, the PowerAfrica team has, over the yrs, provided a range of technical & advisory support to REA in line with its growth path.
The USAID delegation was received by the Ag. MD/CEO of REA, Abba Abubakar Aliyu; the Executive Director, Rural Electrification Fund, Doris Uboh; the Executive Director, Technical Services Umar Abdullahi Umar and the Executive Director, Corporate Services Ayoade Gboyega.
While speaking to the quality of support the REA has received from PowerAfrica over the years, the new REA management reassured the delegation of its forward-leaning approach to further accelerate energy access interventions while sustaining the Agency's growth trajectory
