The REA - Plateau State MoU was signed against the backdrop of a strategic Roundtable, which had, in attendance, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr.

@abbaaliyu_, representatives from Renewable Energy Service Companies (RESCOs) and other frontline stakeholders in the clean energy sector.
The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. @CalebMutfwang, while giving assurances of his commitment to advancing clean energy access in the State, explained that "Plateau state is ready to give its best to make investments in the state worthwhile.
He added that "with the support of the RESCOs, REA and other partners, Plateau State can achieve energy sufficiency, drive MSME development, and uplift the lives of our people". The Governor, while commending the REA for its strategic rounds of #StatebyState Roundtables, said that "the Roundtable marks the beginning of a new chapter in our journey towards universal energy access and economic transformation.
By deepening our collaboration, we can create sustainable electrification projects that power our communities, unlock new economic opportunities, and improve the quality of life for all people of Plateau state, and be rest assured you are backed by a supportive government."
