Today, a Team from the United States Trade & Development Agency (USTDA) visited the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) to discuss the impact of mini grid in remote areas & the nexus between renewable energy & agriculture.
The USTDA Acting Director, Thomas Hardy commended the REA role in driving micro grid development in Nigeria and how it has boosted investor’s confidence in the energy sector.
The Executive Director, Rural Electrification Fund (REF), REA, Dr. Sanusi Ohiare shared his thoughts on mini grid deployment, proposed projects on mechanized agriculture using renewable energy & possible opportunities for investors to key into the ecosystem
