MD/CEO OF REA COMMITTED TO SUPPORT NIGERIA’S FIGHT ON COVID-19 THROUGH SETTING OF GUIDELINES AND ENSURING COMPLIANCE
|
As the world contends with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nigerian Rural Electrification Agency will further prioritize our compliance with guidelines and protocols from the lead management and response agencies.
This is more so as our work requires engagement with diverse stakeholder groups and external partners in delivering on our mandate to electrify unserved and underserved communities across Nigeria; taking care to ensure the safety of our people and their families. Accordingly, we are taking steps to minimize group activities, while drawing up contingency plans around those for whom such engagements are critical.
In the interim, we will continue to engage our external stakeholders, preferably via remote channels and we equally urge all to engage the Agency through our digital platforms where they are sure to receive prompt responses.
We are thankful to the professionals on the frontlines of the effort to contain and manage the spread of the disease.
