REA MD ASSESSES NIGER STATE PROJECT TO ENSURE QUALITY AND COMMUNITY IMPACT

Abuja, Nigeria - June 23, 2023 - The Managing Director/CEO of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) conducted an inspection of a solar hybrid mini-grid project in Danchitagi Community, Lavun LGA, Niger State on Friday, 23rd June, 2023. The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the project's impact on beneficiary communities and ensure compliance with approved technical standards set by the Agency. This inspection follows similar visits to projects in Lagos, Osun, and Ogun States conducted between June 16th and 17th, 2023. These inspections exemplify the hands-on approach of the MD/CEO in implementing projects and demonstrate the Agency's commitment to providing energy access to rural areas nationwide.
