THE RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY GETS NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RURAL ELECTRIFICATION FUND

The Honorable Minister of Power, Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu has approved the appointment of HAJIYA SA’ADATU BELGORE, as Executive Director, Rural Electrification Fund of the Rural Electrification Agency. The new Executive Director received her appointment letter from the Honorable Minister of State for Power, Goddy Jedy-Agba in April, 2023.

MD/CEO OF REA ATTENDS THE 1-DAY WORKSHOP ON ACCELERATING SMALL HYDROPOWER INVESTMENTS IN NIGERIA

The Managing Director/CEO of the Rural Electrification Agency, Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad joined the Minister of Science and Technology, Sen. Adeleke Mamora; the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mariam Yalwaji Katagum; the DG of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, Prof. Eli Jidere Bala and other stakeholders and change makers from United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Global Environment Facility (GEF) as well as other Agencies for a 1-day Workshop on Accelerating Small Hydropower Investments in Nigeria

While commending the quality of collaborations in the sector as well as attendees at the Workshop, Engr. Salihijo explained that the REA equally "continues to explore technological possibilities through R&D through its Research and Innovation Hub".
