ALL ON AND KATAPULT INVEST IN INNOVATIVE
SOLAR MINI-GRIDS COMPANY NXT GRID TO EXPAND THEIR NIGERIA FOOTPRINT

NXT Grid, an innovative one-stop-shop for solar mini-grids,announced today it has raised $1.4 Million from investors All On and Katapult Climate.

NXT Grid’s innovative integrated platform makes it easy and affordable to install and operate a solar mini-grid. The company couples AI-based software with rented solar equipment, toenable business customers to run their own town-sized utility. The upfront costs are reducedby 80% and make mini-grids a financially and environmentally sustainable alternative togenerators.
The investment builds on top of an initial investment by All On in 2020, which made it possible to deploy the first mini-grids in Nigeria. The new funding enables the company tofurther its growth in the country, with 30 grids planned to be constructed by 2023.
