On the 24th July, Engr. Ahmad Salihijo, the MD/CEO of the REA joined other energy industry stakeholders, professionals and change makers at the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Associations (REEEA)-Alliance conference in Abuja.
Engr. Ahmad equally joined other panelists to unpack the thematic conversation on the impact of the 2023 Electricity Act.
While sharing his insights on the timeliness of the Act, its advantages and the role of State governments in the business of electrification as stated in the Act, he explained the existing, close-knit engagements between the REA and the state governments, targeted at deepening the impact of sustainable energy access across Nigeria.
In recognition of his impactful contribution in the energy sector and his achievements at the REA, Engr. Ahmad Salihijo was conferred with an Award of Recognition in the Renewable Energy Sector by the @ReeeaAlliance
