B. MINI-GRID TECHNICAL SPECIFIC DOCUMENTS

1. Business Plan (Project Overview): Provide project location, solar energy potential, load profile and system specifications with components such as solar panels, inverters, batteries, transformers, and generators. Describe how the system meets power quality, reliability, safety, and availability standards outlined in REA Harmonized Technical Standards. This should cover generation and distribution networks, control/protection systems design, and equipment selection justification

2. Engineering Design : This should include detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and schematics for the solar mini grid project. The design should address all aspects of the system, including solar panels, battery storage, inverter systems, backup AC generator (interconnected with PV system), distribution network, transformers (if required) system/personnel protection systems, civil/structural works and other necessary components. It should address all technical aspects of the system including the solar panels, inverters, batteries, transformers, generators, site assesement as well as other civil/structural designs and other critical components. The design should also address the power quality, reliability, safety, and availability service standards as defined in the REA Harmonized Technical Standards
